Can you imagine being born with the memory of who you are and where you came from? Do you remember your birth? This fascinating story is about a girl who can, and her guided journey to balance her spiritual gifts with her humanness.
I thought it was interesting and well written. I found it to be descriptive, yet to the point, unlike some books that are so overly wordy that I have to skip ahead just to get through it. I would definitely recommend it. I enjoyed it very much.

The story had to be told. The author held my interest from start of the story to the finish. I could not put the book down. Couldn't wait to find out what happens to Luna next, experience after experience. I read it twice :-). I would like to see this book become a movie someday. Can't wait to read the authors next book.

If you have ever felt that you were different, that you didn't belong, or have ever wondered why you didn't fit in - with your family, schoolmates, workmates - this book will help you to realize that you are not alone and that each of us has a life purpose. Wonderfully written, full of wit and wisdom, There's a Whole in the Sky spoke directly to my soul. I savored each and every word of this book.

"There's a Whole in The Sky" had me by the heart and soul from the very beginning of the book, right to the end! Loralee Dubeau has written this remarkable story about remembering who we truly are and why we are here. Through her gift of storytelling and her connection to Spirit, the author beautifully illustrates the journey of her character Luna as she struggles to become at peace with herself and her life purpose. By following her heart, Luna is able to overcome her struggles as a human being and truly connect to the Center of all life. As a result, her true self is revealed. I highly recommend this book to anyone who feels or has felt different, alone or unsure of their purpose in this life (most everyone?). This book has been both empowering and enlightening as it helped me to remember my own Truth! I am most grateful to Loralee for writing "There's a Whole in The Sky".

I raced through this book the first time I read it. When my daughter was just beginning to speak, she told me she was starting to forget where she came from. Very profound for a 2 year old, it reminded me of words from William Wordsworth, "The world is too much with us...". The sights, sounds and experiences of this material world crowd out our inner life; making us "forget" where we came from and why we are here. How magical to read the experiences of Luna, a girl who doesn't forget. I was captivated by both the positive and negative ways the memory affected her life. I have been renewed in my quest to connect more deeply with my inner, spiritual self; the self that "remembers" where I came from.

There's a Whole in the Sky is a well written, thought provoking piece of work. Loralee Dubeau takes you on a journey with her character, Luna, who struggles to feel comfortable in a world where she is not understood. I got goosebumps while reading this book, as I saw much of myself in the story. If you have ever felt like you do not belong, are different, or misunderstood, this is the book for you. We all have a "Luna" within trying to become "whole". Thank you Ms. Dubeau for sharing this story with the world.
I will be rereading it shortly. I am anxiously awaiting or your next book.

"There's a Whole in the Sky" was an exciting journey as seen through the eyes and soul of an amazing girl named Luna.
Loralee is a consummate storyteller.
Through her words, we experienced Luna's "earthwalk" as the challenging, yet mystical adventure it truly was.
Through her words, we are able to see our own lives from that mystical perspective.
This book will touch many hearts in different ways.
It is a beautiful reminder about the basic, simple truths of life.
Thank you Loralee for connecting Mother Earth and the Stars in such a wondrous way.
This book is a gift.

Each of us has felt alone in this world, at least once, and have questioned ourselves and others as to our purpose, life's meaning and are we alone. This book expounds upon the experiences of one woman, from birth until the present moment and is a must read for all those who even faintly question the world around us and our place within it. It is time the story is told and accepted. We are not alone and all that we need and all that we seek is within ourselves and our connection to all things of this world.
This book is an avenue to digging up the real questions we all seek and provides insights into the knowing of questions some have not dared to even ask. This book is a wonderful and enlightening story of her personal journey to understanding, learning how to love all things, but most of all, how to love and accept herself. A story for anyone and everyone on a journey towards self-love and acceptance and who will dare to question life and its meaning and are open to the possibilities that all you need is contained within yourself.

I am older gentleman. I decided to read "A Whole in The Sky," as it was recommended by a friend. This book is fantastic for both men and women of all ages. The author sparks curiosity throughout. The Character, baby Luna, is born and passes through many different stages in her life. There is fact and fiction in this novel. It's Amazing! Going through her four quests mystifies you, and Luna finds out why she was put on this earth, to help others. Luna's remarkable gift for healing others was passed down by her grandmother. I advise everyone to read this book. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

There’s a whole in the sky is a wonderfully written novel that makes you question what we thought we knew. Some books are worth reading again, and this is one of them. Truths are spoken and lessons are learned. We all have the light inside to love and accept all things, if we choose to do so. I would recommend this book to all who know there’s more to life than what we can see.

This book is a book about challenges.                                                                   It challenges you in your belief of what you've been taught and what you believe within yourself. If you have ever been still long enough to listen to that voice in your heart that tries to guide you then you will love this book. The author takes you with her on a journey that is fascinating, daring you to open your mind and see, threw Luna's experiances, that there is so much more to this life. This book will remind you to respect this earth and all creatures that share it, to leave your heart open and listen. To love and respect yourself as well as others, to embrace life and live the path that is yours.
Loralee Dubeau is a gifted writer and I hope to read more of her books.

WOW! This is a most fascinating book. Luna's story covers many significant happenings which I believe to be occurring today on this planet. The story caused me to think "outside the box" of my everyday world thoughts. I look forward to seeing many other books of this nature being written by this author.

The knowing of something different. Something they didn't let you talk about. This book has made it all real again. I read the whole book in two days. I couldn't finish a page fast enough. The tears that fell as I read felt so good....the book is written so well ... You feel like you are in the story! Amazing ! Thank you Loralee...

There's a Whole in the Sky" is an AMAZING book, August 13, 2012

This review is from: There's A Whole in the Sky (Paperback)
I have to give this book 5 stars. It makes you feel that you are on the journey with the charcter, Luna. I think everyone will relate to something in this book such as the trials and tribulations that Luna had and it also teaches many lessons in it, like following your path in life, no matter how much resistance you get. The charcter was such a strong person in this book that she made you respect her from beginning to end. It engulfed me from the start, making it hard to put it down, and even made me cry at times. I would HIGHLY recommend this book for all ages, from adoloescents to the elderly, because everyone will take something away from it and it will be different for everyone, but it will be something that they need at that moment in their life. After reading this book, it makes you want to open your heart and mind to a "Higher Power" (whatever or whoever it is) and it makes you want to be a better person and to let go of your fears of the things you don't understand. GREAT JOB TO THE AUTHOR!
I can't wait to read the next book!

By weaving a gift for storytelling and sharing experience through the written word, There's a Whole in the Sky offers an amazing vehicle to help one reader at a time to remember their connection to Oneness and the place where they have all come from.

I recommend this book to anybody who happens to stumble upon it, with the hope that it touches his or her soul in just the right way at just the right time.

This story not only entertains, but inspires.
Thank you for sharing your gifts and wisdom Loralee.

Loralee Dubeau in her first novel, There's a Whole in the Sky, shows us an alternative and inspirational way to perceive those parts of ourself that make us each unique and different. Like Luna, her main character, she shows us how everything, including those unique differences, "....has a spirit light and a reason for being." Because she had the courage to share her inner knowing, she teaches us through Luna, how one can rise above the trials and tribulations we must each face as we grow the Self, and "let our light shine within our humaness."

If you are a spiritual seeker, this is not your average feel good, and find the light type of book. Loralee Dubeau takes you on a journey that stretches the fabic of what most of us know to be real and blows the roof off what we may think makes the universe tick. From the opening to the end I found myself captivated by the life of Luna and her story. The truth of this book resonates at the deepest core of who we are and why we are here. I found myself swept away by the simple truth that this world cannot be all there is. I began to love the idea that our own perception of what we think to be real is much too narrow for our times. Loralee has courageously set the new standard of where the boundries of reality may be.
